FAQ

How do you sterilize your instruments?

Clippers and rotary nail file burrs are steam sterilized per highest health recommendations by the Center for Disease Control (CDC). Instruments are cleaned with a surgical instrument cleaner, then bagged in  sterilization pouches. They are brought to high temperatures utilizing steam for the recommended amount of time. The pouches have both internal and external indicators on them which guarantee sterility of contents for up to 1 year. Biological Indicators are also monitored on a  regular basis to ensure compliance and safety. A fresh sterile pouch is opened at each patient visit.
